Rabbi Oran Zweiter, originally from Riverdale, NY, is a graduate of Yeshiva University, where he received his Bachelor's degree in History, Rabbinic Ordination and Master’s in Talmud. He is currently pursuing a PhD in American Jewish history. Rabbi Zweiter previously taught Judaic studies to middle-school students in the New York area and served as an intern and rabbinic associate at the Riverdale Jewish Center in New York. He also spent summers participating in various teaching programs across North America. He completed an intense healthcare chaplaincy internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. Rabbi Zweiter is married to Chani, who works in grants management for a non-profit in New York City. Rabbi Zweiter and Chani are thrilled to be part of the CAS community!
